Systems/ERP Analyst

Job Summary:

Collaborate with project stakeholders to analyze, design, build and implement ERP solutions. Publish reports, dashboards, and visuals that deliver company metrics. Develop solutions that maintain ERP database integrity. Create and maintain procedural and workflow documentation. Troubleshoot application and database challenges on a timely basis. Prepare test plans, test cases, and evaluate test results related to application implementation, modification, or upgrades. Identify and communicate project risks. Partner with internal and external development resources to ensure solutions meet the business requirements.

Essential Functions:

1. Develops, writes and test moderate to complex application programs, queries, and processes. Modifies existing software as necessary to meet the needs of the business and improve production or workflow, or to extend systems to server new purposes.

1. Investigates and resolves user problems and answer user questions regarding ERP software and CRM systems. Maintain communication with management and end users to reach satisfactory resolution of problems.

1. Ensures current system procedures and processes are providing updates to databases as required to support the business

1. Write queries and reports/dashboards to retrieve information on requests. These requests often require immediate response to the ERP/CRM system.

1. Prepares data according to the needs of the management and end users, including the provision for downloading the information to be used in developing complex reports that may require data for manipulation and analysis.

1. Develops complex reports and queries for analysts and data manipulation using Power BI and other data analytic tools using data download from ERP/CRM systems.

1. Implement, configure, and test Epicor ERP solutions to ensure data integrity; and support transaction/data cleanup activities when necessary

1. Works with all functional departments to analyze current procedure and suggest process and system enhancements.

1. Prepare test plans, test cases, and evaluate test results related to application implementation, modification, or upgrades

1. Maintain Epicor security where appropriate

1. Analyze, develop, and manage detailed requirements documentation

1. Assist with the development and continued support of a data warehouse to help determine what ERP application database information can extracted.

1. Provide after-hours support for if needed

1. Mentor / cross train team members to utilize Epicor ERP more effectively

1. Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required.

1. Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Information Technology is preferred or a combination of education and/or relevant work experience.

1. Understanding of Quote/Order to Cash process flow and relationship with ERP applications.

1. 3-5 years of experience supporting and implementing ERP capabilities preferred.

1. Ability to recognize complex problems and apply creativity to analyze solutions, develop solutions and procedures

1. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing.

1. Knowledge of Epicor BAQ, BPM & SSRS Report Writing preferred.

1. Superior analytical skills plus demonstrated skills to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously. 

1. Ability to work under deadline pressure.

1. Willingness to work extra hours if needed on assignments.

1. Good written and oral communication and training skills.

1. Willingness and ability to travel if needed.
