Accounts Payable Clerk

Opportunity: Seeking a motivated individual to process supplier invoices associated with Duke Mfg. purchase order receipts. This person will be a valued member of the Duke Manufacturing Finance Team and a key contributor to the Accounts Payable department reporting to the Treasury Manager.

Essential Functions:

1. This includes utilizing the 3-way matching process to verify price, quantity, and purchase order unit cost.
2. Invoice processing experience in a manufacturing environment will be a plus for this position.
3. This individual must be able to learn to prepare the weekly Accounts Payable check run to ensure our suppliers on paid in a timely manner in accordance with vendor and purchase order terms.
4. This position must be able to research outstanding checks and voiding checks as needed.
5. This position must have solid communication skills to interact with external suppliers as well as internal team members throughout the organization.
6. This position is also responsible for processing vendor credit memos in a timely manner.

Job Qualifications:

1. 3 years relevant experience in Accounts Payable is required.
2. High School diploma or equivalent.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume global organization.
4. Must be flexible and able to tolerate interruptions while maintaining invoice processing accuracy and ensuring deadlines are met.

Other Skills:

1. Prior experience using Epicor ERP system use is a strong plus.
2. Prior experience using integrated ERP system.
3. Experience using Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
