Design Drafter

Role and Responsibilities

• Work with project managers to determine the design requirements
• Work with Design Team to determine
• Design 2D counter layouts ensuring proper fit within building layout
• Create preliminary, submittal, and approval drawings for the customer or design consultant
• Review sales drawings, correct redlines, and ready them for the design phase
• Collaborate with Designers and Engineers to create the best layout and look for the counters

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Associates Degree in drafting preferred
• <2 years' experience working as a drafter or equivalent role

• Proficient in the use of computer-aided design software (AutoCad, Solidworks, Revit), as well as Microsoft Office

• Experience working in a fast pace environment managing multiple projects simultaneously

• Knowledge of GD&T

• Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
