Lead

Role and Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Must have excellent knowledge of measuring, leveling, and handheld tools such as tape measures, squares, various grinders, saws, drills, etc.
• Runn and operate machines such as a Plasma, Trumpf Punch, Shear, and Notcher.
• Have knowledge of parts layout, nesting, and other basic CNC programming preferred.
• Work with employees and other departments within the organization to achieve high efficiency of the company.
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures with protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.)

• Must follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures.

• Set clear team goals, delegate tasks, and set deadlines.
• Oversee day-to-day operations.
• Conduct training of new team members.
• Oversee attendance of team members.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Knowledge in MetaCam, Solidworks, and AutoCad.
• Knowledge of thin sheet metals (14-20 gauge, S.S., galvanized, aluminum, and copper)
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (grinders, squares, calipers etc.)

Preferred Skills

• Interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written
• Strong Communication Skills (verbal and written-) Ability to give effective feedback and coaching to team members, lead team meetings and department report outs, email
• Basic Problem solving and Root Cause Analysis
• Critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills
• Able to use Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
