Planning Supervisor

The Duke Supervisor provides guidance and support to team members for the purpose of achieving department goals. They accomplish results by communicating job expectations; including on the job training, monitoring work, and assessing job performance. Supervisors lead team members by coaching, counseling and enforcing systems, policies and procedures.

 In addition to this, the Duke Supervisor assists in identifying personal and professional development needs and opportunities for team members. They promote ongoing training, preparing team members for more advanced responsibilities. The Duke Supervisor must develop team members and their team to ensure "Permission to Play" values, uphold Duke "Core" values and strive for Duke's "Aspirational" values.
