Plant Manager - Houston, Texas

Duke Manufacturing's Counter Craft Division is seeking an ambitious plant manager with strong manufacturing leadership, P&L ownership and Lean/Six Sigma Continuous Improvement experience to join our team! The Duke Counter Craft purpose is to Nourish Our World through integrated solutions that connect people, equipment, and technology to improve throughput, efficiency, and quality.

Our current opening is for a Plant Manager at our Houston, Texas location. The Plant Manager is responsible for implementing manufacturing strategies that support strategic initiatives, driving continuous improvement programs utilizing Lean principals, and reinforcing a culture aligned with Duke/Counter Craft's purpose and values. The Plant Manager is also responsible for the overall performance of the site operation including managing the P&L for operations.

As Plant Manager, you will have the opportunity to

• Lead the change management process to incorporate new projects or production enhancements to help reach exciting growth opportunities ahead!
• Lead the CI culture and drive implementation of all CI projects
• Drive business results through strategic execution of the site operations
• Lead the personal and professional development of the team members

Some of the qualifications and skills required for the position include:

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong technical skills with the ability to assess operations and maintenance
• Demonstrated leadership in driving CI projects utilizing Lean MFG concepts
• Good judgement and critical thinking skills
• Proactive at driving business objectives through strategic execution of goals
• 10+ years of operations leadership
• Prefer Bachelor's degree in business related field
