Refrigeration Lab Technician

The Lab Technician designs testing procedures, trouble shoots and corrects design flaws, and co-ordinates design changes for mechanical system components with engineers and vendors. The Tech is responsible for analyzing test and system data, and recommending appropriate changes as needed.   They also assist Engineers and other Laboratory Technicians in the research, design and development of new products. The technician must be able to complete agency DAP data sheets and work with agency personnel (due and external) to satisfy requirements. The technician must have basic mechanical and electrical skills.
