Job Description: Technician

Duke Manufacturing has a great opportunity for students in the Computer Aided Design/Drafting field. Our CAD internship gives a student the opportunity to work in a department devoted to 3D drafting of custom built equipment. Students will get the opportunity to assist our drafters on projects and improve their drafting talents and experience while earning a competitive wage. Hours are flexible and we can work with you to accommodate your current class schedule.

The Temporary Engineering Technician is responsible for learning and retaining skills over time to be flexed in the department as needed for 1-2 month assignments (or as needed). Initially this position may require a 6-8 month training assignment. Skill sets should grow to Technician level with training and experience, technician pay for the temp assignment will be considered once this person reaches full tech competency.   Temporary support will be utilized to support peak periods of workload, some overtime should be expected in this assignment.
